I tried using the contact form on the website, but it said "Incorrect email address," so I'm posting this here.
Hi, I've been using the trial version for a few days now and I love your software. I plan on buying it as well as a new laptop (right now I'm using a Netbook which is pretty slow) but I don't have a job right now. Once I have a job I'll be buying Filter Forge for my laptop, and I don't want to lose all the filters I've downloaded onto my netbook. Is there a way I can save my downloaded filters to use on my laptop once I've purchased your software and a new laptop? Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Daniel Crist |

Yes, there is a way to save your downloaded filters.
I think that for you will be useful to look at a thread I have done to be able to have a copy of all the filters you have downloaded and keep it outside of Filter Forge. Please, see it here ---> http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read.php?TID=8910 If you do not understand something, just ask again here. I send you my best wishes and hope that you can find soon a job and then be able to buy this excellent, wonderful and awesome software that is Filter Forge, and with version 3.0 will be even better. kindest regards Daniel |

Thanks so much SpaceRay, that's exactly what I needed! I had been looking through the Filter Forge files under Program Files, I didn't consider that there may be other places where the program stores data.
