I know I've read in the forum some where about the problems with the selection component but haven't been able to refind [ there is a lot to read ] to see if a solution was found - the filter I'm working on would benifit greatly if I could include the component without the message............. Carl

Yes, I know there was no answer in that other post, I cited it just to identify the problem.
I agree that it would make sense to turn off the message in some cases but currently it's as it is - if at least one Selection component is connected to a subtree in a filter, the message will show, even if that subtree is inactive. We aren't likely to change it in the nearest future - mainly because it doesn't look like a big problem, it's more in the nature of a feature request. Hope it doesn't spoil your life too much ![]() |

My misunderstanding, in my enthusiasm for the answer I presumed this was it.
