why do I have the message that say I have to update to install the filters from the web site. Isn't there a way to install filters manually into the library? I choose not to update my software, last time I did I had very many problems.

what is a "warez site"?
I figured out where the filters are being stored when I download them. Thats really all I needed to know $300 for the pro of FF? wow, for a second there I thought I was at adobe.com |

for what you are getting, i'd say that was underpriced. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Maybe thats true,no graphic program can compare to Photoshop CS3, so really its worth the money, if you have it.
The verdict is still out for filter forge, I haven't quite got the hang of it like I do PS. It seems to have potential, with some practice we will see about that $300. |

Actually the Standard edition which probably will fit most of your needs is $159 with the current discount applied

Also, I would like to note that if some components are changed between versions, your filter location knowledge (just press Ctrl-L in FF when filter is selected, I recommend you to stick with "My filters" location only, since fiddling with library filters storage may lead to some non-easy-to-fix problems like FF refusing to start at all) won't help you much, since the code for the new components' version just isn't there
