Is there going to be a forced migration to 2.0

My apologies if this has already been discussed.

I have mass filters on FF 1. So I have been doing the majority of my work on that one.
But apparently I am no longer able to submit my user data from it. As I get a message that I need to be on 2.0

I just took another look at my options and set it to sending in usage stats automatically.
Maybe that will help.

I also recently tried to download a library filter and I got a message that I need to be on 2.0.

The last I checked we were not yet able to submit filters for 2.0 as of yet.
So why would I need to be in 2.0 do download a library filter?

Ideally I would like to keep my old version as well as get the new version when out of beta,
(as I already have the beta version.) and use them individually.
Will that be an option in the future?

I must have missed an email. As I am a bit late getting back to this thread.
Ok I just thought of something, the message says I need a newer version of ff to download library filters. Maybe this is just a required update to 1.0.



I did not want to test it as I did not want to lose 1.0 yet. False alarm?
