I've been trying to download the trial as a photoshop cs4 plug-in without success. It's making me feel more and more challenge, but I cannot figure out how to add it as a plug-in. Could someone help me out here? I'd love to try and use it before I buy it without issues. LOL. TY

1. You can use it as a standalone program. You have to install the program to install the Photoshop plug-in.
2. Filter Forge should give you the option of installing the plug-in when you run the downloaded file: 
3. There should be a filterforge plugin in your photoshop plugins folder. 
You may have missed to installion option when you installed. |

Thanks for the reply, however both times I've chose to download the plugin as well and it's not in my filter section oddly enough.

I had the same problem. It may be because you are using 64bit ps. The new ff plugin should be ready any day now.

I tried posting this yesterday, but I guess it didn't work. Yeah I found out yesterday night I had two different copies of photoshop - one was a 64-bit. Well when I opened the file to the other photoshop Filterforge came up fine, thankfully! I appreciate it all, wish this post went through last night.

Krystal, I didn't even think of that possibility. I also have the 32 and 64 bit installations, but did not realize that both were not automatically installed. I am a new buyer of FF and have been using it as a stand alone. I hope your trial goes well, and you decided to join the FF community.
