Wow. Just did a 2048x2048 px render of my rather complex "Kingdoms" filter. 16 minutes later I'm not able to save it. I get the error message above. I also can't open an image: ::GetOpenFileNameW failed with error code 0x000A0002. As long as I don't select another filter, FF is just sitting there - flatlining at about 3.5 gig RAM usage - displaying my render in Preview. When I switch to another filter, everything starts working normally again. Open/Save dialogs actually appear, etc. Looks very much like a RAM issue.

I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Will keep you posted.

In the meantime, do you have any helpful info on this error message? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

My guess is that you ran out of available system handles, though it generally manifests itself in another way.

Hah. Reproduced. Sort of. I can see the Save As... dialog window, enter a name, choose file type, etc. But when I hit Save, it does nothing. I can keep clicking Save forever, and it won't work.

So I close the dialog. Then I try Open Image and Open Selection. Both lead to error messages, as posted above. I would send you the filter ffxml privately, but it appears I can't attach anything to PMs? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Please send the .ffxml file to support@ – this is the most appropriate way.

Hmmm. On the other hand, I'd really like to investigate this further before I bother support with it. We'll see...
