Gradient repeat?

whenever i drag a simple "Profile Gradient" onto the editing space from the components list it automatically makes the gradient repeat. This means i have two gradients when i only want one...

Is there a way around this?

All components are affected by the Size slider in Filter Controls. Set it to the maximum, this will remove the repetition.

Ahhh.. I see.

Thanks for the advice, I would have never figured that out on my own.
So basically I change the scale futher down the chain and make sure and leave filter controls - size at maximum to avoid gradient repeats.

Have you guys thought about competing with terragen and other such apps?
Seems like you have the scope for it already.

There are some really powerfull apps in that segment (Vue, Mojoworld, Bryce, Terragen2), some of them have decades of development under their belt. Competing with these apps head-to-head would require long years of work and a lot of experience in the field.

ok noob just had same issue with gradient looking slightly wrong because scale was just off 100% - it seems confusing that changing the size at the end then backwards alters all the other controls visually during editing - perhaps there should be some kind of ! icon to show you have scaled the whole thing in the filter editor away from 100%?
