Filter Forge - cannot run FF this program is already running

Margaret Posts: 2	Jusgt downloaded FF 5.0 I get the message Cannot run Filter Forge this program is already running. If it is running I do not know where this is. I did have it running once but had to close it down because I could not get any response from it in order to open an image. I have trial vesion of FF 5.0 I have a license key provided by FF but this does not work either Help

Rachel Duim So Called Tortured Artist Posts: 2498 Filters: 188	I don't know what operating system you have (Windows xx), I would power the machine down all the way, restart the computer then try running the Filter Forge 5 program again. Hopefully this solves your problem, if not, use the Contact form for support. Math meets art meets psychedelia.

LexArt LexArt Posts: 256	i agree wih Rick Duim, first the best hing would be to restart the computer, so if there is FF running already it will be deactivated Maybe FF could have crashed and is frozen and so seems to be running in the background
