I believe that also somebody else is getting this error message while trying to download filters :
<class XFW::StateError> Could not get filter (13941, 1) XML.
Or not?

Yeah; here too.
Really lovely; hangs the entire FF instance while it's at it and does a very good job of that, too. I have to kill the process; zapping the application from the Task Manager isn't enough.

Forge crashes when trying to download NEW filters on my machine. I tried some older ones and had no problem. Sent in a bug report but haven't heard back.

We are looking into the issue. We'll probably hide four August filters temporarily until it is fixed – please don't panic.

Unfortunately those four filters appeared garbled beyond repair. We had to remove them – please resubmit. Sorry for that!

Heh. That's funny. I just got an email that I have to resubmit two filters, so I thought I'd check the forum to see if this was a widespread problem. But it is only four total filters, and two of them were mine? What are the odds? I'm wondering if I should go buy a lottery ticket, or if I've tapped out my luck for the day.
Anyway, it is no problem to re-submit them, and I really appreciate the heads up email.
