Filter Forge 6.0 keeps crashing in Windows 10.

I'm trying to download filters... and it just keeps crashing.

I don't speak for FilterForge and I'm not support. But first off, sorry that's happening.

You should outline your problem step by step to narrow down what causes it and so on. Best practices to detail the issue as much as you can in chronological order. Mention anything that's to do with unexpected behavior including error messages you may get when it crashes.

Thank you, Skybase.

Ok, I load Filter Forge 6.0-at least I think that's the version.

It runs, I can look at filters and such. I try to download and open from the website, it crashes when I click on 'Open in Filter Forge'

I've rebooted the pc, (windows 10 1607 version) cleared cache, reloaded from Filter forge librarian. Haven't tried it since.

Oh and it does this both in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Why would I need to go through the hassle of reloading both browsers? It also happens in the program too

What error message do you get?
You can try the built-in library browser instead: select Tools > Options > Online > Use the built-in library browser.

It doesn't give me much more than 'Filter Forge crashed' Problem solved....

Today it works.
