Having problems with "disappearing" hard drive space I started some analyzers. One thing I found is that Filter Forge takes about 1Gb of disk drive space in a user preferences file (User/AppData/Roaming/FilterForge 6) where the most of space is taken by the previous installation files - it's like downloaded update files are kept there and never get deleted after the installation. But before deleting them is a question - is it safe?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention - we never thought it can be an issue. Yes, after you install the latest version you are perfectly safe to remove old installers. I believe the installer could do this sort of cleanup itself.

Glad to assist in improvement.
Just to be sure - those are the regular update files like Filer Forge 6.008 Setup.exe etc. And found them in Filter Forge 6, Filter Forge 5 and even Filter Forge 4 (that I deleted, but all user preferences are still there) Roaming files. All together good to free 2Gb drive space.
Deleted the update files (and the whole Filter Forge 4 user Preferences). Filter Forge 6 is still working smile;)
