8.004 Crashing

Hello
I hjave tried uninstalling and reinstalling 8.004 a few times, but what seems to happen is anytime I open a link in FF fromt he filter forge library (online) it crashes and locks up photoshop and FF. This has only recently started happening since the last update or 2 from Adobe so not sure if they changed somethign to be flaky or if its just now showing up on my filter forge. I cannot use it at all at this point and can't find a solution.
Is there any advice on what can be doen as I am sittign with a needed piece of my designs work I have been doing, no unable to use it at all.
