I am using FF10 as a plugin-in in Photoshop Elements 2021, Photoshop CC 2021, Affinity 1.9, and Photoshop 6. In all cases when requesting FF10 via the respective plug-in I initially get "filter forge is running-click here to switch". In fact there is not an instance 0f FF running, it does show in task manager (see attached). I am unable to use or exit from any of the host applications without invoking Task Manager. he following is the error I get after ending using task manager.

<class XFW::OSCallError> ::WriteFile(block 4, child pipe 0000000000016D8, master pipe 00000270A3226100) failed witherror code 0x00000E8: The pipe is being closed.

i finally figured out my problem.

Try this, it worked for me.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Rendering -> uncheck "Use output dithering when saving non-project images"
I don't recall checking this option. A Default setting perhaps?

Hello!
How can I install Filter Forge (11) into Photoshop CC when I already have it as a plugin in Photoshop Elements on the same Windows computer?
I appreciate any help you can share.
