download new filter in FF14 and FF13 opens

hi all!
please help smile:?: me with this: i still have a FF13 studio on my PC, but am currently using FF14 professional. when i try to download Ramlyn's new filter Ap Gas it always opens the FF13 version and i thus cannot download this FF14 filter. how can i change settings so that the website opens my FF14 version and downloads the filter? thank you for your help! smile:)

The file association for .ffxml files (Filter Forge filters) is set to FF13. Which operating system do you have? What browser are you using?

i first tried it with firefox (which i normally use) -- it still didn't work. but it did on microsoft edge/windows 10.

Nice workaround. Here's how to set up the file association in Firefox. Run Firefox.
Windows:
Alt (to show pulldowns), Tools / Settings
Mac:
Firefox / Preferences

Click General at the left. Scroll just past halfway down and you will see the attached graphic.
Find the filterforge type and highlight it. Click the action field. Your choices for filter download that make sense:

Always ask - Lets you pick any version of Filter Forge (that are in the list) to download the filter to. If no versions are in the list "Use other..."
Use other - Change the default program to download the filter to.

Note: FF14 default locations:
Windows - C:\Program Files\Filter Forge 14\Bin
Mac - /Applications/Filter Forge 14
