Is "snap to grid" actually working?

Edit: Ok, jeez, consider this as BS. Sorry for spamming the forum with that, not sure what I have seen, but it seems to work..
I'm not having a good run with my two last post these days Feel free to delet this post if possible..

OP: Is snapping to grid in the editor working for anyone? I notice no difference when I have it activated. Either it is not working on my system, or the snapping increments are that small, that I don't recognize it. Third option of course would be I'm using it wrong, but I'm not sure what could go wrong, I can either activate the feature or deactivate it...
