I begin to edit a new filter and am able to move one component plug but then am unable to do anything else. My cursor turns into a hand. I have to wait before I am able to move/change anything but, the hand returns when I do.

Also, filters I've submitted are not in the application data but other filters are. I noticed ones I'd deleted were still listed in the folder, however. Is this normal?

Yesterday evening when I opened the program, the filters were showing in the upper left pane. As of today, they are missing.

I found the filters (I'd deleted them). Apparently they have the original name when being created from stage one. When you change the name of a filter, shouldn't it change in application data folder also?

No, Filter Forge doesn't use the filename. To rename the filter, you should edit its .ffxml file. Filters are saved in XML, so you can open and edit them in any text editor.

Thanks, Vladimir.

I opened the file in Application Data and found when submitted, the filter name is correct in XML file. I changed the name of the files that are stored in application data after opening and seeing which submitted filter name should be applied to each file stored.

I'm new and when I begin building a filter, once I close the editor to view the effect, it requires a name. Once completed, the name doesn't fit the filter created, therefore, the name change. LOL
