Alright, this is nuts, I have adjusted both settings inside FF twice now (didn't choose the proxy one, since I don't use a proxy), and neither way will download and open the filters. When I click on a filter on the FF site, it just opens FF to the last filter I was working on, and that's it, no download, no nothing. What do I have to do, to get it to download and open THAT filter, when I click on one on the FF website pages ? I'm sure this has been gone over before, but I dunno what to search for, and I'd rather just ask again.

----I tried the empty the cookies thing, and all that did was sign me out of this site and ALL others I frequent.

			jffe,

do you allow activex for this site? is it in your 'trusted zone' in I.E.? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

----Yeah. All the normal script allowances are set, FF is in my *zone*, it just opens to the last filter I was working with.

----I did, I got a thread of me asking this same question like 8-9 months ago. FF really needs to sort this out. I realize IE is everyone's favorite hated stepchild, but it's still far and away the most used browser.

----Nope, nd not looking to switch to some obscure 3rd party browser. All the basic active x scripts are enabled, cookies are enabled, and to really confuse & annoy me, 1) this has happened before, and 2) I have been able to get direct download/opens from the FF site pages before too. So yeah, if yer confused, well, imagine how I feel, having had it work before, and also having had it stop working before as well.
