New to this, but thought I would post it (sorry if it is a duplicate). I'm getting an error on close...every time and regardless if it is from CS6 or the stand alone.

System Specs:
Windows 8 (64bit)
8gb Ram
1tb HD
intel i7
NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M

The error is "Filter Forge x86.exe - Application Error"
"The instruction at 0x00481c8b referenced memory at 0xeb34fb2a. the memory could not be read"

I'm guessing it is because of the beta being for 32bit and/or not for Windows 8? I do have version 3 installed and it works fine.

I know that for FF 3.0 there is a separate version for Windows 8, but there seems that for FF 4.0 there is only one version for all

better to wait until GMM comes and he can confirm this and what may be happening

Hello,

I've got the exact same error after the chosen filter runs. Running Filter Forge 3.014 Basic on Windows 8 64 Bit.

See pic for error message.

Any ideas?

SpaceRay is right: under Win8 the beta will display an error message on exit (but beside the message it works correctly). This will not be fixed until the commercial release.
