Hallo!
Just had to reinstall my PC- old install was PSE10 on Windows 7 64bit and FF 3.0xx running smoothly as plugin.
New system consists of:
Windows 7 Pro 64bit (German Version)
Photoshop Elements 11
FF 3.014 (just freshly downloaded)
Install Path of PSE11 is:
C:\Programme (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11
C:\Programme should be aliased via Environment Variables in Windows to c:\Program Files(x86)...
Anyway, Install of FF only provides the option to install as Standalone Software, not as plugin into recognized Photoshop installations.
Just installed Google/Nik Software Plugins, working fine in PSE11... So Photoshop should be installed correctly...
Any advice?

Is this a German version of Elements?
I know there is no folder called "Plug-Ins" in localized versions of Photoshop. If this is the case, please create a new folder named "Plug-Ins" and reinstall Filter Forge. It will see the correct installation directory and will install as a plugin.

Thanks for the quick answer- there is a:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins
Folder present.
Still did not work.
I did some poking around, and: there is a
F:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Plug-Ins\Filters Folder present in the old installation, that was not there by default with the install of PSE11.
Created Filters folder, (and by playing around, also copied the PSE11 binary to "Photoshop.exe", probably not needed...) and installed FF again- this time successful.
