Just bought this app on sale. Installed it, activated it, went for filters, and the button, download filter in filter forge, do nothing. I am registered, using win 8.1 and Chrome.

Have Filter Forge open and running before trying to download filters.....It might be file associations issues with either win81 or chrome....

I thought I'd add the same thing's happening to me. I'm using Chrome and win 8.1 and nothing happens when I click the download link (after adding cookies).
I'd say this needs to be looked at. |

Once you do this you can then go to the filter forge library and download a filter.....Once you click on a filter to download chrome will give you this message below.....Check "Remember my choice for all links of this type".....then click "Open Application"......chrome should now open filters with filter forge everytime......

I am using win7 and IE8.(things may be different in win8)......It may be still in the same spot but in IE choose "Internet Options"......Then choose to associate a file type with a program..(it may be something different in win8)...A window similar to this will pop up..
Look for the highlighted below....ffxml should be associated with filter forge... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
