FF7 + FF8 (beta) together?

I have FF7 and I tried install FF8 beta (I did not have key yet). When I tried start FF8, there is "choice window" (30 day trial etc), I rather closed this, I will wait for s/n.. I uninstalled FF8 beta for now.

But I needed somethning make in FF. When I click (here at the site) "Open this Filter in Filter Forge", nothings happend (only info, that installation of FF is needed). Something with asociations maybe.

I "returned" Windows 10 before installation of FF8 beta, all is OK.

So, my question:
how "manage" multiple installation of FF? When I will have FF7&8, only in FF8 can I open Filters directly from web links here? I want to have FF8, but (for now) only for testing, I want open links in FF7.

The proper way to open filters is to open FF first, then switch to your browser and click "Open this filter in FF". The filter will open in the version that is currently running.
