I got several errors yesterday, and each time Filter Forge said it was sending the error report via the Internet. I tried to add a context statement to the message box but it would not allow this. So I assumed the program sent you what you need. Is this correct, or should I take some additional step?

We're already working on adding the "Comment" field to the report form. It will be available in the next update. Meanwhile just send the context info (and preferably the filter causing the error) via the contact form -- http://www.filterforge.com/contact/

By the way, what kind of error do you have -- could you post the summary text here (by copying it from the bug report window when it shows up)?

Yes, I had the same problem. A message box in the bug report would be very useful and save you valuable time. I also took screenshots and took the liberty to send you the offending filter to the upload area. What a shame, if someone doesn't read all the comments in that filter and just publishes it as if it's a go. Please email me if you want more details or the screenshots. smile:?:

This screenshot shows that the filter died during rendering- maybe 10%
finished.

moonrancher, could you please post that filter (Acrylic Casting.ffxml) here? It's simple:

1. Select the filter in the Main Window
2. Choose "Filter > Locate File" from the menu (or press Ctrl+L)
3. A Windows Explorer will open and show you where the file is
4. Attach that file to this thread

I'm sorry to say that when I saw all the info being sent to you, I thought you had what you needed. So now I'm glad I asked. I will start taking screen shots and writing notes. But I can tell you that all errors happened while modifying a plugin I created. Most errors where while I was saving the plugin or cancelling out of the editor. You have the errors on file. And I also wonder if some of this has to do with lack of enough space on my C: drive. I don't keep my applications there, but most applications seem to want to put their program data there.

Hmmm, well I just checked and it looks like I did save one. Here it is. If you want me to send you the plugin, where should I send it.

This bug is already fixed, but it just hides another one (it's visible from error log submitted by you). Guess we'll ask you to check it out again after the next beta release.
