Help! I bought the basic, then upgraded to Professional and still cannot load an image....I go to Image - Open, and it still opens
up the image of the lifesaver thing. Have written to FF twice now and have not heard back. Thanks for your help

It depends on the filter itself.....Some filters use the menus (Image-Open) some filters use this function in the filters settings........
What filter are you using?....This is always a good place to start asking questions.....

Thank you!!! I somehow had a filter chosen - deleted it and now I can open my pictures...

The behavior of Filter Forge is when you open it the last filter selected
when closing is what will be selected when opening....
Such as if you have Comic Book selected before quitting the app,
Comic Book will be the filter still selected when you open the app....

You can either select the next filter down on the list or in your case
deleting the filter automatically chose the next filter down the list...
