In preparation for transitioning to Filter Forge 13, I created a backup drive. When this function stalled, I cancelled. The created partial backup file was about 50 GB, filling my C drive.
But the problem is I can't delete it, getting a "program open" message. I deleted Filter Forge 12, and still got the message. I tried copying the Roaming file to the cloud and overwriting it; it still kept the problematic file.
How do I delete that backup? I can't use my computer until I do because it hazardously filled my C: drive.
 Thanks

Update: I was able to delete the created backup file (it was 45 GB) copying everything to Dropbox, deleting, copying back, deleting. In process I deleted Filter Forge 12, which initially appeared to be part of the problem.
Could you kindly tell me exactly what I need to copy from the backup file, and can I do this from Filter Forge 13, or do I need to reinstall Filter Forge 12? Or can I just copy everything directly and skip the backup step?

I don't want to endanger my computer by repeating the mistake and creating another 45 GB file. My c: drive doesn't have room.
My Filter Forge 12 data is under

 name>appdata>roaming>filterforge12

 My library is under
 name>appdata>roaming>filterforge12>system>library
which is the file I tried to copy

I use 7zip to archive all FF folders under Roaming. The file compression (Ultra) is far superior to FF's backup feature and I am sure I really have all the filters, including the one under MyFilters.

Thanks. Steph, good idea. I successfully directly copied, not bothering with compression. But good idea for storage. FF's backup unusable, though possible I made some error. Anyway, it's solved, and I'm updated with my old filters migrated.
