Hi
I read other posts about slow rendering but should it really take 40 minutes to render a 5.53mb 12mp jpg using the analogue filter? I really like the filter but that seems so sluggish. I have tried it in CS5 and standalone with the same results.
Thanks!!
J

This is not really something to blame Filter Forge - I counted 11 blurs in that filter.. there is your problem smile;) The memory usage explodes when you combine that fact with a 12 mp image..

Certain filters can take tens of hours to render a 12-MP image, so 40 minutes looks quite fast for me smile;)

If you were planning on printing the photo after applying the filter then it could be a good idea to edit the filter and optimise it a little. Even just a few small fixes could save you minutes with an image that big.

If you don't want to print it then I'd suggest just use a smaller image smile:D
