I have version 2.008 of Filter Forge (Professional Edition) registered and installed in Photoshop CS4, but when I went today to search for and download new filters, I kept getting an error message that reads "To open library filters, you must have a newer version of Filter Forge. Update Now?"
What's that about? It doesn't seem to matter which filter I try to open, the result is always the same. Since I already own version 2, what am I supposed to do in order to be able to download and use the filters? If anyone can provide a solution it would be very much appreciated. Thank you! Filter Forge is at a higher version then what you are running...I think its at 2.010 now...So you can download the latest version here..
http://www.filterforge.com/download/ Then you should be able to download and play with filters again.. ![]() Running the installer should update your version and you should not have to input your serial again.... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Shoshanna,
I am having the exact same problem... let me warn you installing 2.010 did NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. In fact, it made it worse. It asked me for my name and serial key, and my 2.008 version does NOT work! |
