Now I don´t really know if this is a bug or just me being stupid, so I´m putting this here for the time being.

I realize it´s called "anchor" and not reference system. But if I have a Free Ellipse with a radius of 1 and XY Anchor set to Image Bounds and a non square image: Shouldn´t I get an Ellipse fitting into that non square image and not a circle?

If that anchor is really just intended for setting the midpoint then it would be useful to have another mode where the reference system can be set for all calculations of a component.

FF was originaly intended for square images. Only later support for non square images was added, so some of the components are still "square minded".

I agree that a strech to fit check box would be a nice thing to see smile:)

In the mean time, take a look at some of the filters made recently that are non square, and see what people did to adapt for non square images.

Thx for the answer! smile:)

I recall seeing a thread where someone tried to read out the aspect ratio of an image but can't find it any more. Can anybody point me in the right direction, by any chance?

If I didn't imagine it, that is. smile;)
