As of FF v4.010, Filter Controls are totally inaccessible from within Component Groups, which is sub-optimal for filter building.
My suggestion: Give us the ability to create a tear-off copy of the Filter Controls as a floating window, always sitting "on top" of the Filter Editor, regardless of its "edit level". This way, we can always have access to it, even when inside Component Groups. Hitting [F] inside a Component Group could immediately bring up this floating window for added convenience. (Currently, [F] does nothing when inside a Component Group) Use case: Imagine you're testing how components inside a Group react to different Size, pixels settings, how they behave in Seamless Tiling etc. Currently, you'd have to ungroup them to do that interactively, or test first and then group. Both workarounds are annoying. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |
