I was trying to use the Photoshop plugin. The redraw speed needs to be increased by many factors. It almost makes the plugin unusable in photoshop. For a 3k by 2k photo, the Cartoon filter takes over a minute to draw. Speeds like this make it impossible to browse the filters. You need speeds like 5 seconds or less.

http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...=5&TID=116 Also, let's separate the rendering speed from the redraw speed. Try to create a simple filter (create a new filter and plug the Patterns > Checker component into Result), and look at the redraw speed. |
