It would be nice for the noise to repeat on the Z axis the same way is can repeat on the X and Y axis.

The reason being that 3d Volume textures are very useful in real-time rendering applications and video games, and there are not many resources available for generating these types of texture maps.

With FF I was able to create a custom noise filter with a height offset slider and export a series of images that can be saved into volume texture - however, the noise does not repeat on the Z axis.
