Is there anyway to add (either in the library or online) my own description to the filters? There are some filters that may be called smoke or coal, but I see parchment; others that are called LED filters, but I think are great for textile textures.
I've started setting up folders in my favorites, but it is hard for me to organize everything so I can remember exactly what each filter simulates.

If you have a trial, a Standard or a Professional edition, you can edit any filter and add your own keywords and descriptions.

So, I can change the name without changing what the filter does? (Yes, I did buy the Pro edition, and have told others about the software. One of them downloaded the trial and then bought it right away. I learned about the software because Sarah Hoyt recommended it for using to make book cover designs.)

Yes, you can change the name and description without affecting anything else. Select a filter, click the "Filter Editor" button and save the filter under another name.

Does renaming the filters mess up the usage statistics for the folks who originally made the filters?

Once you save a filter under another name its usage won't count towards its original author.
