The progressive preview in FF has 64 75x75px rendered blocks at a 600x600 image size. It would be nice to get this behavior out of the command line renderer. A 64 image output.
Having built a custom GUI for the command line renderer a couple years ago: 
It would be very helpful to have an option to see the progress of the render. _____________________________________________________
