Render Queue

One feature I'd like to see (though 64-bit and OpenCL are much more important IMO) is support for a render queue. Especially when you consider just how long it takes to render textures - it's a huge pain to lose the ability to do anything with the program while the texture is rendering.

I would love to be able to tweak and get the settings the way I like, then hit the Save As dialog to fire off the full resolution render into a queue, and then re-gain access to the application. That would let me either continue to tinker with designs or iterations of a particular texture, or just plain start browsing the amazing filters to find the next thing I need to work on. It would be really wonderful to be able to stack up a handful of renders, then be able to walk away and let the machine run unattended.

As I am a complete newbie to the program, would it be possible for someone to please provide some instructions and examples on setting up the command line renderer?
