This is why I don't usually get involved in these types of discussion

I'm sorry? I don't understand about your 'Why' for not wanting to discuss something like this. It's not war we are talking about, my goodness. At least it isn't from my point of view. I thought it was a good suggestion that would benefit a lot of others here smile:?:

We still friends? smile;)

so, steve, how would you do this, but library filter categories? one forum for each category in both image and textures?

Well, to keep the main Forum page simplified, the one "Comments on Filters" link could open to a page with all of them listed out by catagory.....and the last post could still appear on the main page no matter what catagory it was posted in.....like it looks now.....but with an organized sub-menu by catagory underneath it....

I'm trying to think of it as a better tool for both authors and users.....longer filter exposure at the top of strings.....and making it more organized and efficient for users to come right in and go to the filters in their field.....

Personally, as a user, I won't scan very far in the "Comments on Filters" string with everything piled in together.....feels like a waste of time having to decifer which filters I want by name......which, as you know, can be misleading to what a filter actually does. I think that if it was organized as I suggested, I would be more apt to use it as a tool.....come right in and go to the catagory of the filters that I'm interested in using.....
