Well... I actually have an entire list of features/adjustments I could name off, but I suppose I should limit myself to one at a time. smile:D

So, other than the ability to protect settings from the randomizer (which I know has been discussed here a lot smile;) ), I was curious about the blend modes.

There are a few modes which are conspicuously absent, namely:

add, subtract, divide, logical and, logical or, logical x-or, exclusion, etc...

I'm certainly not knocking the currently available modes, as they are all useful, but there are times when the difference between say, 'hard light' and 'linear light' is virtually nothing.

I know some may be unfamiliar with the 'logical' blends, as they are not Photoshop regulars, but do appear in Corel's Photopaint. But... I do believe any addition to the blend modes would prove useful.

Just for an example: there are times when you want to combine one alpha with only part of another, and though it might be obtainable through the use of repeated blends, the final filter will run much more slowly. The 'exclusion' mode might do the trick, as might one of the 'logical' modes.

Anyway... that's it for this topic for the moment. (Only 10 more left on my list! smile:D )

Thanks for reading! smile:)

Yes, we'll add all these as math components. However, logical AND, OR and XOR are a problem, because FF colors use floating-point numbers, not integers.

Ahhh... I never knew that was how the logical modes functioned. smile8) I just learned something new today! smile:D

Thanks for such an informative reply, Vladimir. smile:)
