Here may be a simple but odd one. Not that anyone would want to uninstall FF once they start using it. But what would be nice to have is
an uninstall feature or shortcut from the start menu. This is always the first place I look to uninstall apps. Its also quicker for the average user rather than going to the add/remove control panel.

We tried to adhere to the "Designed for Microsoft Windows XP" spec. The version 2.3 (latest one ATM), section 3, requirement F1.1 clearly states:
"...
Do not place shortcuts to documents, such as Readme files, in the Start menu.
If you have important information that the user should see, consider displaying that information during the install process or on the help menu of the application.

Do not put shortcuts to help files in the Start menu. Users can access Help after they launch the application.

Do not place shortcuts to remove the application in the Start menu. It is not needed because your application’s uninstaller is in the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel item.
..."

While this is a recommendation, not a restriction, we still feel that it's a good idea to adhere to this spec, especially since we're looking forward to join the Microsoft Windows Logo certification program.

Everything makes sense to access through the apps themselves. Such as help, info that sort of stuff.

It may not be needed but its quicker to access. Since you don't have to opened up the add/remove and find it then launch the uninstaller.
Where if it is in the start menu just simply go to the start menu and find the shortcut. It takes less steps for the latter. Not to mention that there are apps that do not follow that and do have a shortcut to the uninstallers.
