This may have been addressed before and isn't too important, but it might be nice if there was a "remarks" controller somehow -- where it appears in the GUI (i.e. as a label where the FF controllers are), but doesn't have any controller options for the user to adjust anything.
This way, the filter creator can give a label to a group of controllers, so the user can better see what a group of controllers do... I'll attach a filter to try to illustrate what I'm imagining... In my attached filter there are two checkbox controllers (which do nothing) but function as labels for some following controllers. But since they also have a checkbox option (but give no effect), they appear rather ghetto/budget/cheap/unprofessional - like. This idea may be helpful for filter makers and users who think in terms of (somewhat-linear) "start to finish" processes/adjustments... (which of course perhaps won't apply to many other filters and users). Anyway, just an idea -- but I agree/think it may *not* be the most important feature to focus on yet... (e.g. Get the mac version ready, already, okay?) ![]() controllers test.ffxml |

yes, i've done this before, as well. i normally used a slider rather than a checkbox, though.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
