Open Recent (Filter)

When working on filters, I'll often alternate between different ones where maybe in a day I've made three different filters with three different names.
My problem: My "My Filters" folder is so huge it's rather cumbersome to search through it to find those recent filters I'm alternating between.

(Besides that, I often can't remember what I named my recently created filters... This was recently so problematic for me, where I simply could not find a filter that I worked on so I decided it was just easier to totally re-make it from scratch again... Okay, yeah, this was a fault on my own dumbness... )
(I've similarly ran into this problem with recently used Library filters -- but here it wasn't so bad, since online I can "search" them out again with keywords.)

Anyway, this is a feature I've liked with a few (art) programs -- where it may not be that big of a deal, but it seems to add a nice "professional" feel to the programs. (I think PS's "Open Recent" option stores the latest 10 worked on images.)

Filter Lister

It will allow you to sort all your filters by Author or Date
It should make finding the last filter you worked on very easy

csv files (comma separated values) may be opened in microsoft excel or
Openoffice calc.

I think that is a very good suggestion. Open recent is an important part of my workflow in every other app. I set the list size to maximum too. So the more the better. Organizing by project and selecting by recent project would be nice too. It's not that important now but since the next version will allow for multiple images and possibly other things like external node groups, particles/fields/instancing and multiple renders it might be something to keep in mind.
