vlad, i know i posted about this before, but i dont know where it is now and i've been thinking of this more and more as i work with FF. when you went with more controls, which i love, you changed what the mousewheel affects. it now scrolls up and down the control list. that's good. and i know you said that made more sense now. but, in looking at the rest of FF and how the mousewheel functions on different parts of the interface, isnt it possible to make the mousewheel move the control sliders ONLY when the mouse is over that slider (like in the editor) and then scroll thru the control list when it's over the scroll bar? is that possible?

and, if that's not possible, could we reverse things back to the other way so that the mousewheel moves the sliders and we just drag the scroll bar up and down with a left click? it's more intuitive to me to mousewheel the control sliders and i still find myself trying to at times. i wouldnt want you to do this JUST for me. others may like it how it is. so, maybe a poll could be taken on this? i dont really want to get into designing FF by a 'democratic committee'. that generally makes a dog's breakfast of anything it touches, but on this one feature it might work. i leave it up to you, but you have my vote already if it cant be done the first way i mentioned.

Tools > Options > Interface > Mouse wheel in scrollboxes

Set this option to "adjust the controls in the scrollbox" and you'll get exactly what you want -- the wheel will adjust the sliders when the mouse cursor is positioned over them, or scroll the scrollbox when the cursor is outside the "slider area".
