i like the online editor idea more than the chat idea. chats in forums tend to be a great idea in theory, but rarely have i seen them used when instituted. so, it's not a bad idea, just an idea that i think wouldnt get much use. the online editor thing, now, that i would participate in. the only trouble i see there is, how would you keep everyone's versions straight and such? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Have every change be server-processed. That would be fun too. :O and we could have little avatars running around doing things that visualize our actions! And then it would also incorporate the live chat idea well, so that we could have orders and groups and... ugh, it's never going to happen...  Roses are #FF0000

You Wouldent, there would be a "Download current version" button. That would be the joy, you jsut wouldent have perfect control, you never kno where its going. You can be working on one thing and then someone can be making their own branch from the original source. We walk through life building our castles but far to many cease to build the foundations.

No it would be, I think they would have to make it only accessible by users with an FF liscenced copy, but I mean just a big window where any sort of mischieve could happen, maybe even put it IN filter forge under a tab. But at the end of the day the filter goes into its own category and anyone has access to make changes during the day. So yes, someone could tottaly reck it, but thats why you have a "Save current version." button. Hey everyone wants to get half way through a filter and see what 3D would do to it :]. I was more thinking like a live version where you see people dragging components around and linking up nodes. Everyone's cursor maybe has an avatar and a name, and stuff. It's like the infinite workspace area, there are just multiple users. Roses are #FF0000

Except that navigating wouldent work correctly Kraellin. One person would drag and I'd be like "Nyea, I was working down here *Drag* *Indigo drags back* Fine, do your own thing, Im gonna go work by myself!"
