I'm not sure if this has already been requested but would it be possible to have some mathematical formulas in FF?
For example, if a mortar width of a tiles pattern is 10 and I want another tiles pattern to always have 10 less than the first tile pattern, it would help to be able to have: tiles pattern 1 mortar width - 10 = tiles pattern 2 mortar width. I would find this very useful for several of my filters. Thanks. |

I agree; a simple arithmetic node, which you could use to drive Integer parameters would be super useful.

perhaps this could be included as a remapper option. Might be cleaner than doing it via a new node.

I've just seen the other thread requesting this improvement. I really hope that this can be accomplished as it is very badly needed.

Can everything that was part of adobe's old 'Filter Factory' photoshop plug-in be included in version 2?
edit Oh, I just saw a page regarding 'Filter Foundry', and maybe this is more what I am requesting. _____________________________________________________

IMHO just a simple excel-like thing would be very nice; as described in the original post. (Which sounds like is in the works.)
Right now we can't do anything w/ integers. I wish we could just take two or three integer inputs, do some basic arithmetic with them. Like (X-Y)+ 1 and return out a number. Doesn't have to be too complicated. |
