Zev, that paper on fast median filtering you sent me is really interesting. I'll definitely consider adding a Median component to future versions.

I just constructed a median filter using offsets and blends, no go! Medians are very useful because of the edge preserving nature, for example to preprocess a source for edge tracing. I hope this will make it into next release  |

Looks like someone invented a new median technique that's even faster and released the source code under GPL...
