It would great if you would add a Control Script component too to complete the "suite" of script components.

Ideas for the design: When setting up the Control Script you define its output type/format (Angle, Checkbox, IntSlider, Slider, Value) and you can add any number of Control Inputs to it.

Why is this script needed/useful? Because it allows construction of custom control mappers and more complex control logic.

+1 I've been trying to do this ever since I started making filters. If the input slot is green, you can use a curve / gradient / offset (V2- look-up) / slider combination to get non-linear controls (this also works for regular sliders that double as switches or int-sliders if you've ever done that), but if the slot is gray, you're stuck.

You could also change the randomization settings of sliders by skewing the scale of the physical slider. Take a 0-100 slider. Instead of 50 being in the middle, you can set 20 to the middle (most random #'s are low but a few are higher). I know Photoshop does this.

Defining your own range of the slider would be nice, too.

I definitly support this!

It would help in places where you want to control a lot of values at once but in different ways.
The remapper helps with this, but with custom control programming you could attach a curve or logarithmic logic to one value for instance, but not the other, making the interdependancy way more dynamic.

Also when you want two control components to affect one value (in conjunction with one or more other values per respective controller) this helps out.

I thought of being able to somehow link controls to eachother, but programming a custom control logic is way handyer (because every situation where this problem arises is extremely different).
