I would love to be able to detach the preview display from the main Filter Editor window... and be able to resize the detached window such that it is large enough to show the entire preview at all times.
Plus, if it was in a separate window, I could move it to another monitor... |

Hmm I didn't think about that..I have not used a second monitor in a while..But that would be a handy one...

Being a cinema display user, I'd also be happy with 'just' having the ability to resize the preview window, though. ![]() ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Even on a large widescreen display though, with the filter editor maximized, I just don't have enough room for all my nodes AND a decent-sized preview...

This was already suggested in June 2008 and in September 2011 is still not added to Filter Forge because there is no way to separate the preview window or any of the user interface panes and is only a whole window block, and only the whole window can be resized but not able to be dettached any part.
And with a big monitor, 24 to 30 inch this is loosing much and is missing many things not being able to customize the user interface and make it bigger to you liking in a resizable options panes. It seems that the FF team is focused in improving the features but do not care much to improve the user interface. |
