Silly as it sounds, but with so many similar filters, it would be nice if I could see a list of the filters I've already installed so I don't re-download in error. If you absorb the previewer that's being talked about today, could the list reader be added to that?
Yep, it's me!

if you use the 'obsolete' method of downloading, like i do, you can see all the filters you've downloaded already. they'll have an 'x' down in one corner of the thumbnail preview.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

i'd also like a way to show that a given filter has already been viewed and you could then screen those out, if desired. that would also apply to FF itself and not just the online library.

I think that as you said in the first quote, what would be good is that you could see also all the filters you have already downloaded in the FF filter library itself on the website and do not have to go the "obsolete" method of downloading.

WHY FOR ME IS MUCH BETTER TO DOWNLOAD FILTERS THROUGH ONLINE LIBRARY (OL)?

1 - In the OL you have preview image thumbnails for all the presets of that filter and in the "obsolete" method inside FF (OMIF) you only have numbers without any kind of preview and have to click on each one to see them.

2 - The preview image of the filter is MUCH BIGGER and MORE DETAILED in the OL and you can see much better what does the filter look like and the effect it makes, because in the OMIF the preview image of the filter is MUCH MUCH SMALLER

3 - In the online FF Filters Library you can search easily by keywors, filter by theme and topics and select how to view the filters, and in the included "obsolete" library inside FF is more difficult and slower and is not as good and sometimes fail.

4 - In the OL you can see the Filters list of FEATURED, RECENT, POPULAR and so you chose how to see the filters, and in OMIF there is NONE of these choices. Well is supossed to be a kind of "popular" or "recent" but is does not work, at least for me. Both OL and OMIF have ALL FILTERS BY CATEGORY menu to choose.
