Hello,
I wrote this thread here Is there a way to undo an update to a filter I downloaded ? http://filterforge.com/forum/read.php?FID=5&TID=8909 The problem I found to make a backup of ONE filter that you want to keep it secure and safe and then update it and see what it has new or modified is that you CAN´T identify the filters inside the filter library inside Filter Forge because they do not have names. So please, I want to suggest if it would be possible to have an option to choose ONE filter and then go to the option of "Backup selected filter" and so you can have a copy and backup of that only filter, so you can update it safely. Also this happens when changing versions, from 2.0 to 3.0 that the filter could be probably better, as it usually happens, but it could be that for your taste it could be worse and then you can´t go back to the previous flter because it has been deleted from the online filter library, and the old version from your computer has been overwritten. BACKUP A FEW FILTERS IN ONE TIME Also if it would be possible, instead of only backup one only filter, perhaps it could also give the option to select a few amount of filters and make a backup of all of them. Perhaps for this to be able, it could be used the filter library browser. Although this option is not important, probably with the option to backup one filter could be enough if it is difficult to implement the option of selecting many at one time. |
