i've been trying out remapping more (thanks, vlad). this is good stuff. however, i ran into one that i think needs a bit of work. if you set a control on two blend components on their 'mode' node and re-map it on both, you cannot set one, one way, and the other, another way. that seems wrong to me.

for example, if i put a single int control on the 'mode' node of two different 'blend' components, i cannot re-map them separately. they will both be the same, no matter what.

'color' controls are the same way, but i can understand why this one doesnt use rempapping. though, i think it could be done also.

can this be changed so that you can re-map the individual nodes on a 'mode'?

We discussed this numerous times -- search the forums for 'List controls' or 'List control'.

To a certain extent, this can be done with checkboxes -- their remappers allow to set specific target list numbers for every controlled/remapped input.

oh, i see. but, why not just do it with a slider like you do with the numbers? 1=normal, 2=dark and so on. we'd set the numbers, but when you closed it out, you'd see the name of the blend mode on the little icon for the remap like you do now. we dont have to see the names of the modes on the slider within the remapper; just the numbers.

Please, how would you make this with checkboxes ?

When you add a check box and tick the Use Remapping box, you can then select in the remmaper what numer is ON and what number is OFF.
