What do you think about dividing MY FILTERS in custom categories?
Maybe something like: FINISHED UNFINISHED UPLOADED or anything you want! --------------------------

Even better, you should be able to create your own custom folders within your local 'My filters' directory and organize your filters within these, which FF would read and display accordingly.

in one of the earlier versions of FF beta, you did have more than one folder in the 'my filters' area. this got removed for some reason.

Imagine using Filter Forge in a production environment, like a game studio's Texturing department, with several different people using one seat of FF. Without a means to effectively organize locally created filters, which all end up under 'My Filters' now, it would quickly turn out to be quite an organizational nightmare.
As it stands, we definitely need some flexible way to organize filters. Creating your own folder structure seems like a workable solution on the user's end. Now FF only needs to recognize these folders... 
Then again, I hope the FF team comes up with something much more elegant even... --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

you guys may also want to go look at the earlier suggestions and ideas submitted for FF. this one has been posted before and more than once. Craig If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

This is not true -- FF never had multiple folders for user-made filters. Maybe that was the Favorite folder? |
