It seems that you are preparing few surprises for FF4. There is a lot of requests already made. I'm adding mine here (I must dream in colors).
1. more transform, noise and pattern components 2. something to be able to create vector 3. components to make easy and fast the creation of spirograms or wireframes 4. the ability to save in HDRI format 5. more hdr environments And THANKS ! visit https://gisoft.ca |

*.hdr format. HDRI would be the term.
Check the feature requests forums for similar ones. For the request more noise pattern check: http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...ssage36035 And we already have all the transformation utilities! ![]() ![]() hehe spiralgrams and other complicated objects can probably be done when FilterForge gets some looping capabilities. The basic idea is that instead of having 20+ rotate components incrementally rotating a fragment of a spiralgram once, by "looping" the sequence of draw shape - rotate - blend with original shape... you get a single cycle that can draw on each other over and over. Resulting in a simpler node structure yet yielding complex results. ![]() |

Looping would be great, but dangerous if not implemented correctly.
The must be a manual break option, in case a loop goes wrong, or you're facing a Ctrl+Alt+Del situation. |

A Replicator, Duplicator, Lopping or whatever you want to call it, would be really interesting and very useful for many things.
Yes, I agree, this would be good, but I think that you should give more information on what exactly you want, and how should be implemented or added to FF, I mean to be more specific and request it better and not so ambigous and that the FF team does not know HOW to make your request. Is like saying that you want that a factory makes you something to seat, they will not be able to do it unless you tell them more about it. |

I will make a list compilation of the most requested things from the forum for FF 4.0 so is better for the FF Team to have the most needed and requested things in one place instead of having to search for it.

Yes you are right SR. I must give some details about it.
1. the lookup transform component is great and I use it frequently. But we might have ALSO another "lookup" to have choice between to start the first circle with small dots and finish with big dots, and a invert input to give the possibility to start with big dots and finish with smaller dots. Right now, the lookup does not give this ability because we start with a ROUND dot and finish with an ellipse. The dot must stay DOT until the last circle. 2. a loop component for scale and another one for rotate to allow the possibility of repeating X number of time the same operation. Example, if I have to repeat a circle (or another form or pattern) we must have a component with these two inputs (minimum)one with the possibility to choose the number for the spacing between circles, and another input to fix all this with a percentage which we can fix the same number for all and the possibility to change this percentage between circles. This for repeating the forms. 3. Same thing here but with "Scale". To get able to increase and decrease with a same number choosen by us but with the possibility to change the number of the spacing between the repeated form if needed and also for the percentage. With these "WELCOME" components, the workspace would be more clean, less work and more fun to create spirowire, wireframe and spirogram... and maybe other abstract art. I would like to explain much better, but beleive me, I did my best. visit https://gisoft.ca |
