I wish there is a button where I can save my current, custom preset for a downloaded filter to be reused later, without actually having to go into Filter Editor and make a duplicate of the same filter just to save the preset options.

YES!! It would be really good, useful and interesting to have a way to download the presets of ONE filter only so you can keep them and also have both factory presets and custom preset of the same filter in one file saved directly from FF without going to the "my presets" folders and search for the number of the filter

I suposse that what you want is one option in the filter presets part to be able to SAVE the presets of this filter you are using

Please, see also this other thread I have made that I think could be interesting to you

Be able to share and download presets from the filters that you make ?

That would be cool too!

Although I actually meant the ability to Save it in the first place ^^;

As in, I apply a preset, then customize it in the Settings tab. And right now I can't find anyway to actually save them smile:(

When I have put "share presets" it means that you will be able to SAVE all the presets of that filter and have all of them in one filter so then after you would be able to LOAD them back

So if you can save the presets of the filter and then load them back, you can share them with another person or use it as a backup for yourself

The only way I know that is available now manually, is to know the filter file number (you can know it using "Locate filter") and then going to the "my presets" folder and search for the preset file with this same number and then make a copy of it out of this folder

Spaceray you misunderstood him, he wants to know how to save a preset in the first place.
Nargus, in case you haven´t figured it out by yourself yet, you can save your custom preset by clicking on the little arrow on the right in the Presets tab and then "add preset". You can also update or delete them. Only the presets that come with the filter can´t be changed.

I am sorry that I have misunderstood him, BUT this thread is inside the Feature Wishlist so i think that if you want to ask how to save a preset the right place would have been in the general discussion, so this is why I have given this answer thinking that is this is this part of the forum he wants probably what I suggested.

BUT is true that after reading again the text, you are right Sharandra, so I am sorry that I have made it wrong.

One tip, you can delete a group of presets that are not factory presets (the ones that comes with the filter) just selecting the first and then while pressing shift click on the last you want to delete
